Senior Retirement Services Associate

What is your Purpose? As a Senior Retirement Services Associate, you will assist plan sponsors with the administration of their retirement plan and acts as a liaison between the plan and third-party providers. Assists plan participants with general retirement education and the utilization of their retirement plan. Handles moderately complex issues and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses excellent working knowledge of the subject matter. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the main point of contact for 20-30 clients 
  • Responds directly to client inquires and questions 
  • Provides on-going guidance and support to participants 
  • Prepares an annual investment review and runs quarterly screen 
  • Conducts investment reviews and provides investment recommendations 
  • Conducts education and enrollment meetings 
  • Prepares presentations and information for retirement plan education and communication 
  • Advises on plan design, annual compliance and 5500 filing 
  • Audit guidance 

 

Success Factors & Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • 2-3 years experience in Retirement Services preferred 
  • Build collaborative relationships with client and third-party providers 
  • Customer service and responsiveness 
  • Ability to research investment and compliance related topics 
  • Organized and detail oriented 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize 
  • Knowledge of ClientWorks 
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required 
  • SIE, Series 6, 63 preferred. Unlicensed candidates will be considered but required to obtain the required licenses within 90 days of employment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
