Renewal Process

At Bryson, we pride ourselves on creating strong, lasting relationships with both our clients and our carriers alike. Our ability to leverage our carrier relationships, with intimate knowledge of our clients’ benefits strategies, is the key to a successful renewal process.

The key components to the renewal process are as follows:

Discovery

In-depth meetings with our clients to discuss past successes and how they apply to future strategies for risk tolerance, financial, and human capital achievement. The company’s current and renewal premiums are evaluated, and any changes in goals, demographics, and utilization are taken into consideration when submitting for competitive bidding.

Accountability Timelines

Once we have established a benefits strategy with our client, we create a customized timeline covering every aspect from RFP preparation through the implementation process to ensure we are meeting expectations and communicating successes and failures along the way, with each team member assigned personal accountability deliverables and objectives.

Thoughtful Improvement

The Bryson team analyzes high-cost claims, prescription drug utilization, and medical condition prevalence. Components for improvement are identified and addressed with education at the appropriate levels. We focus on wellness and benefit education to help lower and maintain claims.

Diligent Negotiations

These are handled by Bryson in order to provide the highest quality of benefits for the lowest cost to our client by utilizing quantitative data and engaging with key medical carriers to tactically explore, or uniquely develop, viable options to achieve the company’s goals. With our thorough benchmarking to establish market conditions, we evaluate and negotiate carrier offerings to best align with the strategic plan.

Consistent Annual Due Diligence Reports

A detailed overview of current benefits and costs, along with recommended renewal cost saving strategies for our clients, are delivered by Bryson in a clear, concise presentation on an annual basis. Additionally, we leverage industry trends, legislative change, and overall market conditions to project changes in plan structure and cost.
